Since the russian full-scale invasion, Ukraine has shown its strength to keep developing and growing in the IT sector. Many new projects have been launched and implemented in real life. The SET University makes its contribution to support the technological status of Ukraine. Sergey Tokarev, the founder of Roosh and SET University, announced the upcoming training for Ukrainian women.
SET University is a Ukrainian educational institution that provides higher education to future technology industry leaders. The institution combines a modern approach to education with a focus on technology and entrepreneurship. The SET team has done a lot to create a favorable environment to support startups, supply Ukrainians with relevant IT education, and provide humanitarian aid.
SET University also collaborates with international specialists and entrepreneurs who can share their expertise and conduct handy workshops for students. According to Sergey Tokarev, SET invites only Ukrainian women to participate in a three-day training “Leading with Confidence in the AI World.”
The businessman specifies that the project team focuses on investing in high-quality education and motivation for women. Thus, he wants to change the trend involving men dominating the technology sector. Ukrainian women who lead socially oriented projects in the economic or charitable spheres, women working in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine and Special Operations Forces, and those who suffered from war or were internally displaced are welcomed to the course.
Sergey Tokarev underlines that the training is free. It will be conducted offline in Kyiv on August 30. The course is provided by the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Business Analytics at the University of California, Berkeley. It is aimed at helping Ukrainian participants grow professionally by using state-of-the-art technology and working with any data.
The training will be conducted by Gauthier Vasseur, a director and professor at the UC Berkeley Fisher Center for Business Analytics, an expert in data analysis and digital transformation. Vasseur teaches business leaders how to use data science and analytics to build and implement business strategies. Professor has joined SET University faculty as an Adjunct Professor and an academic board member.
According to Sergey Tokarev, “Leading with Confidence in the AI World” is the first workshop in partnership with the Fisher Center for Business Analytics. In the future, they are planning to carry out several workshops and a long-term program on innovation and entrepreneurship. The deadline for submitting participation in the training is August 18.

Apart from the training for Ukrainian women, the SET University founder noticed two master’s programs to be launched, Cyber Defense and Computer Science and Innovation Engineering. These academic programs are designed both for managers and team leaders who seek to strengthen their expertise. Software and hardware developers and non-technical specialists will also find them useful in structuring their knowledge and skills.
