Visa and Covid-19 Immunization Story
You probably heard that Novak Djokovic was not the Australian Open Champion last year. Naomi Osaka, the women’s singles champion 2021, is returning for the 2022 Australian Open.
Novak, who was not vaccinated against Covid-19 received a medical waiver to travel to Australia. But, the Australian Government denied Novak entry into Australia. He appealed and was granted entry, but the Australian Government refused to grant him entry.
Novak attracted the most attention in the Open Draw Australian because Salvatore Caruso was taking Novak’s place in the Draw. Caruso opened the Australia Open to Kecmanovic.
