The City of Coquitlam plans an entire day of events at 1290 Pinetree Way in Town Centre Park. The Lafarge Lake Canada Day festivities include two stages of musical, dance, adventure games, a ecozone, artisan booths and community displays. They start at noon.
Trilojay, a lively cover band, will perform at the TD Performance Stage. At 10:00 p.m. fireworks will be displayed over Lafarge Lake. The event area is secured and Beer Camp Co. as well as Coquitlam’s Mariner Beer are available under an open-site liquor licence. SkyTrain can also take you to the Lafarge Lake Douglas stop.
