The Australian federal election 2022 took place on May 21st, 2022 to the elected members of Parliament of the country’s 47th Legislature. The Labor Party is currently leading by one seat. If they can win one of three desired result seats, they will form majority government.

Scott Morrison, 30th Prime Minster, ran the Liberal or National coalition government. He sought reelection for a fourth consecutive term, but was defeated in his bid by Anthony Albanese’s Labor Party.

What is the latest update for the Australian Federal Election Results in 2022?

Anthony Albanese became Australia’s next Prime Ministre on Monday after winning the federal election. There are however at least 3 remaining seats. This makes it unclear if Labor will form a majority government.

To form a parliamentary majority, Labor must have 76 members in the House of Reps. According to the ABC live tracker, Labor had 75 seats as of Saturday night.

While the Labors have 57, other groups hold 16 seats. The truth is that there are still three seats to be assigned. The Australian Federal Election Results 2020 winner will be announced by Labor.

Which are the Last Seats in Doubt

Deakin Gilmore, Macnamara and Gilmore remain to be announced as the final three results.

Liberal Party candidate Micheal Skar is leading at 50.4% in the Deakin seat against Labor Party Leader Matt Gregg who is at 49.6%.

Gilmore has a Liberal Party lead of 0.2% while Mcnamara’s Labor Party leads at 61.4%.
