The Spokesman , Roderick Gouverneur from DCCG-Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard said at a press conference that the boat of the seven Venezuelan men suddenly went upside down. Then the rescue crew arrived to assist them. The seven Venezuelan men was attempting to fit the buoy for torpedos. The rescue team did to assist him by bringing him to the helicopter. But then the shark appeared and was able to attack the man.

According to the Spokesman Roderick Gouverneur Two boaters were killed when the vessel went upside down. They drowned in sea. He also noted that the other four Venezuelan men needed a significant amount of time to recuperate from dehydration, after they had consumed lots of seawater while carrying the pallet and refrigerator.

The incident was extremely painful for the family members as well as the loved ones of those seven Venezuelan men. Seven boaters were killed, but just four were able to survive. They’re still trying to forget about the incident and return to their life path.
