Fireworks Celebration in Utah tonight
Utah recognizes July 24th as Pioneer Day. Fireworks celebrations also take place in areas that were once home to Mormon pioneers. It celebrates the July 24, 1847 date when Brigham Young joined the first Mormon pioneers to arrive in Salt Lake Valley.
Celebrations, fireworks, competitions and other events help to honor the occasion. All local government offices close and many businesses will be closed on Pioneer Day.

Pioneer Fireworks of Utah Tonight 2022
Logan City Pioneer’s celebrates all ages. Following this is an informal volleyball match. At 9:30 p.m., the Orem Day event concludes with a spectacular fireworks display. Additionally, there will be games for the yard, snacks and competitions. There is nothing better than Sand Hollow’s Greatest Party. It featured live music and fireworks. Fireworks are a great way to enjoy your weekend.
Utah Provo has pie-baking and food truck competitions, western and pioneer activities and music. The event will include a petting zone, a children’s entrepreneurial fair, and much more. The Heber Valley Train will sponsor this event. At 7 p.m. the Utah Old Time Dandies will provide a music performance. The “Salt Water Bunch Gunfight Show”, will be held at 8:15 PM. The train departs at 8:30 for the two-hour round trip trip from Decker harbor to Deer Creek.
