2. Organize an Away Day

Your staff should like going to the office or working from home every day, but it’s also healthy to break out of routines now and again.

Organize an away day where you can take part in sports and team challenges. You can host team building events on boats, on the beach, or in parks. Don’t forget to organize a relaxed get-together afterward where people can socialize.

3. Plan a Trivia Game Night

Who doesn’t love a trivia night? Organize an open bar, buy tons of pizzas, and plan a quiz with some fun office-related questions.

You can either split the teams by department or mix them up. Either way, nothing raises staff morale like crushing colleagues in a game of intellect.

4. Start a Book Club

If you’re looking for a way for colleagues to interact outside of work that doesn’t involve alcohol, why not start a book club?

Many people have “read more books” as a new year’s resolution and you can all vote on the book of the month. You will be able to find out more about your colleagues, their tastes, and their opinions away from their desks.

5. Encourage Charitable Giving

People want to work for companies that care. Not only about them but about others, too. Why not encourage your staff to volunteer for shelters, food banks, and other places by letting them do it during work time?

You could offer them around nine or twelve hours a month out of their working day as long as they spend it volunteering.

Charitable giving always makes people feel good about themselves, so it’s a surefire way to help the community and boost morale. Win-win!
