Whether you enjoy murder mysteries, comedies, or another style of entertainment, you often see motor vehicles featured in shows and movies. Quite often, these vehicles contain a certain amount of flash and beauty and become almost a character in the show.

For example, these cars or motorcycles could reveal a certain aspect about the main character, such as a skill driving at fast speeds or enjoying the finer things in life.

Popular Models

Popular culture doesn’t always have to show exotic models on the big or small screen. Sometimes, these vehicles fall into the category of quality autos that regular people use to get to work and do errands, and thus might show the character who drives a particular model as embodied with common sense.

The new Ram, Jeep, Dodge, or Chrysler for sale you see on a lot might contain some models that you can see on your TV screen.

Strong male or female characters often drive trucks, especially if they work out in the country or have an independent streak. Dodge Rams and Jeep products can often add a cool look to a show or movie, especially as the character drives through a beautiful landscape with mountains in the background. These capable vehicles also can get a detective or rebellious character to a remote destination.

Unique Models

Sometimes movies and shows highlight unusual cars or trucks that draw attention when they are on the screen. A prime example of this comes from the “Back to the Future” movies with the Delorean DMC-12. Not only could this vehicle travel at fast speeds, but it also had the added advantage of looking cool, especially when the doors rose like wings every time someone stepped into or out of the vehicle.

Other cool movie and TV show vehicles include the following:

  • The Aston Martin DB10 in the James Bond movies
  • The GMC Vandura van in the A-Team
  • The Pontiac Trans-Am in Knight Rider
  • The Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe in Mad Max
  • The crazy truck in The Duel

All of these vehicles have a stunning look when they come on the screen. They make you look twice, and they probably make you wish you could drive one of these iconic vehicles.

Funny Vehicles

Sometimes, the producers of a show want a vehicle that will make people smile or laugh. The Dude’s Gran Torino in the Big Lebowski offers plenty of laughs, as this character drives this vehicle on his comic adventures. Though the car starts off the movie in pretty bad shape, it only deteriorates as time passes.

The odd, but unusually effective detective Columbo drove a Peugeot 403 Cabriolet, which suited him just fine. It certainly did not make the criminals take him too seriously.

Another car that brought a lot of laughs was Steve Urkel’s Isetta from Family Matters. Just watching him get in and out of this car brought smiles to viewers’ faces.
